International Public Speaking Competition  (27.02.2016)

The quarter-final round of the International Public Speaking Competition was held on February 27, 2016. The speakers were expected to be 16–21 years old, so both pupils from secondary educational establishments and students of the 1st–3rd years took part in the Contest. All of them presented an argumentative public speech according to the topic announced this year, that is “Integrity has no need of rules”. 4 teachers from Mogilev State A. A. Kuleshov University, School № 32, Mogilev regional lyceum № 1 formed a judging panel (A. K. Shevtsova, N. M. Savtchenko, E. K. Ivanova, N. N. Radzievskaya). Veronika Romanova got the Grand Prix for her speech. Yuliya Drozdova got the First Place Diploma. Artyom Borisov was awarded the Second Place Diploma, and Artyom Romachkov got the Third Place. These 4 winners are going to participate in the Semi-finals of the Competition at Minsk State Linguistic University on March 12, 2016. The final round will be held in London on May 9–13, 2016.
