English-speaking club “Nature protection” (10.2015)
In October the Center organized a meeting with Mr. Mel Rogers. The students were really glad to have an opportunity to talk with a native speaker. The main topic was “Nature protection” (the topic of Speech practice for the 3rd year students — they were in the majority). But the people were inspired and asked a lot of questions about life in Great Britain, the teacher’s job in English-speaking countries and career prospects, national stereotypes. Mel Rogers is an excellent speaker, and the students felt free to communicate. It’s a unique chance for the students of the faculty of foreign languages to improve their language and develop professional skills. Thank you, Mel! ㋡
