English speaking club. Topic “The world against drug abuse” (07.05.2015)
Our regular event with Mel Rogers took place on the 7th of May, 2015 with group AF-13 and the third course. The conversation was mainly about drug abuse and alcoholism.
Comments:
It’s a globally relevant topic for discussion—everybody will have something to say about this! Vocabulary is practised with a native speaker which introduces the students to some useful topic-based words and phrases. It helps to practice pronunciation as well. Students are given the chance to practise their fluency through thought-provoking discussion questions such as: “If you found out that a member of your family had been involved in a drug abuse, what would you do?”
